The town of Khimsar has a number of mosques, one of which was made by Emperor Akbar. Osian, situated 27 km away, is known for its sixteen Jain and Hindu temples. Dating back to the eighth and eleventh centuries, the Jain temples are in good condition while the Hindu temples are in ruins. The most important temples are the Sachhiyamata Temple and the Jain Temples.
