Ranthambhore Jungle Safari or Jeep Safari
Ranthambhore was the private hunting reserve of the Maharajas of Jaipur, before it became the place for tiger conservation. Tigers lounge about here in their natural habitat and do not seemed to be bothered by the visitors.
Ranthambhore is a romantic and popular destination. A jeep safari is the most convenient and also fun way to explore Ranthambhore. As it is situated between the Aravali and Vindhya mountains, the terrain here involves hills and dirt tracks, besides lakes. A drive through to dense forest to sight the animals is a memorable experience.

The safari times at Ranthambhore National Park may be modified depending on the prevailing weather conditions. Vehicles have to obtain prior permission to enter the Ranthambhore National Park. Inside the wildlife reserve Ranthambhore, all vehicles have to follow a fixed route and must leave the park in the evening by 6:30 p.m.
